Associated Mothers in Action (AMiA) was officially incorporated in 2021. AMiA is dedicated to Compton, Watts and Willowbrook. We work diligently to promote nutritional and physical health by creating healthy habits. We, focus on gardening and community building as the primary tools to create greater food access and physical activity to invigorate the community to maintain healthy habits.
OUR MISSION
Associated Mothers in Action (AMIA) is dedicated to promoting nutritional and physical health amongst the underserved. AMiA uses gardening as a tool to provide food access, create healthy soil to grow nutritional food while invigorating the community through physical activity and community events.
OUR VISION
To have greater access to nutrient dense foods in communities that are consistently underserved while promoting healthier habits in Watts, Willowbrook and Compton.
